Currently in the process of modeling a car in 3DS. But one subject I rarely see is... How do you model/make the underside of the vehicle and have it look good while also being game practical? If the car flips it will get seen so Im curious to figure this out. Thanks!
Hello Polycount! I just recently created some Russian vehicles (really my first offical game models so far). Each model took about 4 weeks to complete, using 3Ds max, Zbrush, Substance painter and Photoshop CS5. I was going add these into an environment, but instead I might add these in my portfolio later on. Please let me…
After nearly giving up I buckled down, bit the bullet and dedicated myself to working harder. This is my first time trying to do a vehicle. I produced the thumbs in sketchbook pro and then did a 3D mock up in Maya, . Next step is a paint over. Any critiques are appreciated

Hi guys, I have started a mad max inspired vehicle. Thought it would be fun to design my own one so I started with a 1935 ford pickup mixed with a monster truck :) . Its in the very early blockout stages at the moment, just having fun with the shapes really and im still adding a deleting loads of bits and just playing…
So its been awhile since I have attempted to bone. Anyhow is the pivot for weapons and such on a vehicle supposed to be at the root or where the weapon attaches? Also on the root bone. Does it matter what way it faces? I was going via this tutorial, but it kinda skimps on the bone…
