Well, I had not too exhaustive reference. Nonetheless I tried to follow a logic in placing the different textures. I tried to arrange the wear in a way that would logically follow the water flow, with a usual weather direction from south east (relative to the window). The water runs down the vertical bar of the outer…
hi there first post!, I have a few questions about presenting game res characters and tools. I have been working as a professional character artist in the film industry for about 7 years now. my main tools are mudbox / zbrush and maya. I do most of my rendering in mentalray for turntables etc. I would like to start setting…
Unfortunately the sketchfab embed somehow gives me a 404, but here's the link on it's own: https://skfb.ly/6S8sL It is my first real, non-tutorial, work in Painter. I would be glad if somebody with a trained eye could point me to some areas where I could improve on it.
Looks cool....this is key art? Hope you continue to flesh it out. Love the elements here that create the story. Lighting - Good start but I think there should be more shadow areas with darker colors. Highbeam lighting from truck should be more refined. Same as the phosphorus lighting coming from the flare (if that is a…
For old age the window frames are to white and not enough mud. For an accident we have no rubble or flame tracks. The first picture is nice but the house in the background looks weird. The house is unnatural more like a film setting.
Then quit framing it as one to try to flame-bait and shock people. If you really didn't intend to turn this into a basic commie v capitalist argument you should take a good looking at your first wall of text in here.
Haha glad to see my names still on the list. Don't think I'll be joining the festivities since I no longer work at Raven. Guess they forgot that this was going on as I wasn't the only person on the list.
Ok, I searched the manual and found mention of this feature but it turned out to be outdated and it is pointing to a button that doesn't exist anymore in my version (3ds Max 2012). I asked on AREA but got nowhere. Anyone know how to do this? I basically want to have control over which objects are affected by the viewport…
Hi guys, So through strife ive made my first real construction script in ue4 and ive gota building using instanced meshes in order to edit the mesh desired, number of floors and number of segments (both width and depth). However im getting this strange performance drop when viewing the structure from different angles. The…
Christian Nordgren: Wow, thanks sir! I've loved your pixel art/low res and poly work, it's been a huge inspiration to me. Here's the unity package with the script - basically it consists of two scripts, CameraLocationTracker, (that caches the camera location both at runtime and in the editor *and a few other useful things)…
