my viewport clipping was off thanks man. I never had that problem before. I was retoping from zbrush but yeah the scale is super small compared to maxes grid. I am gonna leave scale alone for now since I am still retopoing from hi poly I guess when I am done retopoing will scale hi and low up and then bake it.
Which app? I'm not familiar with sphere maps do you mean cube maps? Both max and maya have ways of rendering cube maps from a scene. This shouldn't be that hard. Standard in max, open the mat editor, right click on the material that's shared by the objects you want to attach and choose 'select by material'. Save to a selection set if needed and attach as one object. Niel Blevins / SoulBurn scripts has a quick script to attach selected. Good luck. -Tyler
