Thanks for your reply Spark. What do you mean with that I am not looking at values? I am a bit new to painting, and I had to constantly check to see which should be lit more than others, but in the end I think the values aren't extremely off. You mean I should the darkness of some things regardless of their value, like you…
Nice start! I think the first 90% is great so far, but the last 10% is always the hardest. In your case, the eyes are making it look a bit too Asian, and the lighting is pretty harsh. The pursing of his lips is also an important feature to try to capture, as is the tendency for pale skin to be more pink in the extremities…
Hello everyone, This is my first post here, and I'm a bit of a beginner. I've known about polycount for a while, but this is the first time I've ever really looked at the site... I'm in awe. What some of you peeps can do with these tools is incredible. Anyhow, to the problem: I was trying to rig the 2nd model I've ever…
My last sculpt I finished this weekend. Really trying to go for hand painted style, but I feel like it looks a bit messy. I will improve with my further projects, but I kind of really like how she turned out :) Also, it was my first time doing retopology in Maya. I had so much fun with it. The original concept is by YUHANG…
:icon60: I'm liking the face- it's lookin good. The adjustments you've made definitely had a positive result! If you're still looking for ideas... The left side of the mouth droops a tad too much, resulting in the left side of her face to look a bit paralized. The right side looks great though. By raising the leftmiddle…
I figured out why it happens very often: I have lift (or a similar power), freeze bullets and a concussion shot mapped so I can just bang out orders. So usually when a target is frozen, they break with a shot, but not all the time if you do lift,concussion/pull with a freeze. Going between all 3 of these as fast as I do…
Hello every one, I posted this question in another thread a while back, however I have yet to receive any answers so I will try again. I made a quick head model to test the blend shapes on, seeing as how I had trouble with that tool on another model of mine. At first it seemed that work fine, however I later discovered an…
I found the node in Designer that makes safe colors from input . While how it behaves on whites is perfectly what I expected , its clipping on dark end seems a bit too extreme for me. Nothing looks kind of enough black with this in our game. Especially some artificial materials of black nature. Always a bit washed out.…
Hey, Looks pretty cool so far. There's a lot of things you can do to make those punches and slam hit and feel a little harder though. For the first punches. You should favor the anticipates and the results of each punch a bit more (Hold/favor them for 1 or 2 more frames) while taking away some betweens on each punch. This…
This is some concept work I did in Zbrush. I wanted to take a character that seemed a little difficult for me to make from 2D concept art of the character Turgle from the game Jedi: Survivor and sculpt it in 3D. I designed it as if I was handed the design the character and I couldn't see all the skin folds and bumps and…
