Sketchbook: Hudson Guilmette

My name is Hudson Guilmette, I have been working in the 3D space for around 5 years and this is my first post to Polycount! I modeled a a cozy room based on mid-century modern furniture and style. I Modeled in everything in Maya, textured in Substance, and rendered in Unreal.

    This is some concept work I did in Zbrush. I wanted to take a character that seemed a little difficult for me to make from 2D concept art of the character Turgle from the game Jedi: Survivor and sculpt it in 3D. I designed it as if I was handed the design the character and I couldn't see all the skin folds and bumps and texture and had to formulate that myself. Before this, I was not too comfortable in Zbrush and was hesitant, but once I started working with it and understanding the tools and the process of creating a model, it became fun instead of work and made me feel so much more comfortable in Zbrush.
