Update: Toying with the head: Getting somewhere on the max armor. Update: Update: I think I'm just about done with the sculpt. Maybe a few changes here and there, and then I'm going to go on to the max hard surface. Hey guys! This is my first time posting my work here, so I'm a bit nervous cause of all the awesome stuff…
Drawing up to the final submission, I've been insanely busy and not had the chance ot update this lately! Once it's all handed it, I'll be sure to post more breakdowns for critique and improvements. In the mean-time, enjoy this recent screenshot :)
Update: I checked out all of the different maps and found it was an issue with the world space normals. I updated the model and fixed the issue. I am still trying to figure out a rule of which parts of the mesh can be duplicated/mirrored and which can not in order to avoid this issue. Any advice would still be appreciated.

Passing along the solution that worked for me based on conversation with Marko S, an Autodesk employee that was able to help me through this whole thing. 1: Blend materials should be available in Maya 2019 and the fact that it wasn't for me means it's missing. Progress Update 06: Sorry for the late update - I was ill yesterday, and sitting at a PC was the last thing I needed. Anyway, I'm fine today and I've got another update. It's nothing too fancy, just confirming that I've done what I mentioned in the last post, and I've done a few extra things on my list too :) . First of…
