How are you generating the cracks currently? The way you're thinking about this is backwards. In Designer it's bad practice to go back and fix your noise/patterns with other nodes. But their transform node does allow to to change the pivot point and scale/rotate from that point. You don't need more than the basic Transform 2D node.
