Hello every1 Im wondering how to weld the vertex (or any other thing) in a editable poly, as an example lets say u create a box and turn it into editable poly, now using just extrude u want to create a simple ring from that box, how will u weld it at the end to make it closed? is it possible? ty lots for any help

only time I've ever had an issue like that is because my stack was pretty extensive. lots of modifiers (bend, ffd, etc) with edit poly's in between. all the edit poly's seemed to have been the problem. is this anything similar to your situation?
It could definitely be Maya 2011. At work we have quadro 4000(or maybe 4500 I can't quite remember) and they can't run vp2.0 in 2011 but they work fine in 2014. [edit] can *not run vp2.0 in maya 2011 I mean [/edit]
You need to convert your object to Editable Mesh not Editable Poly to get the cage export working in xNormal. From my understanding, that makes the difference between the two normal maps, if you use the cage in xNormal they should look more the same.

GOTY edition? lol Bioshock 2, ME2, FFXIII. Two of those I already have pre-ordered the special editions on. :P MAG also looks like fun, along with a couple of other titles...I need to play that Darksiders demo.
