Hey everybody. I' m trying to rig my first character. This is what he looks like: http://imgur.com/6xqpAJj I've been looking at youtube and the rigs there seem to be too complex for a character this simple. Does anyone have a good free tutorial on rigging for a simple character?
Hello, We are looking for rigger to rig our game character. Preferably done in 3D max but we are flexible with other software. The rig needs to meet industry standard and include facial rig. Picture of the character below 0 EDIT: We have found one person at the moment. Our game will feature 5 characters where one character…
@stabbington @konstruct yep, the jigglebutt gives a lot of character :D @Makkon haha, le thanks : P setting up the character (in max and importing the anims into udk) was a lot simpler than making a custom pawn class that enables you to play with him + third person camera. it's been a looot of copy-pasting from forums and…
Hey there I’m looking for a modeler who can model a cartoon character and rig them according to the naming conventions for FaceRig. The character can be seen here, and has a few other poses but we don’t have 3Q and back sadly. IMAGEThe outfit and model is fairly simple in design beside the hair. The character as stated…
Hi! (i also posted this in cgtalk) - I got Jason Osipa's book, and wanted to do similar setup in max8 - I ran into problems - actually sort of update problems. 1. Parameter wire update in viewport. I need to have dummy morph targets in morph modifier to get secondary "volume" controls update in realtime. I haven't found…
Hello! This will be a general Work In Progress thread for my entries, whatever form they will take, rather than spamming the board with multiple threads. It's my understanding that the contest allows for multiple entries from the same person, even in the same category, and each will be counted as separate entries. The…
Hi there! I'm working on two things at the moment. A character and a scene. The scene was inspired from a concept from Tyson Murphy, Blizzard guru. I need to make improvements and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just to be clear, I wasn't going for a Blizzard style or anything. Just doin' the best I can for…
Hi guys I have started a week or so ago working on a project for my Uni. Its not much now but I would like to eventually have some feedback from you guys on how I can improve. The goal is to create a 3d Environment for a high end mobile device. The theme and can be decided by us and is then signed off by the tutor if its…
That articulated nozzle is pretty insane, lots of sliding joints and constraints. If I had to set this up I'd try to abstract it a bit. In 3ds Max I would try setting up some control Splines, with the meshes on Path Constraints, or something similar. This may be too complex for a starting task though. If you want to start…
thanks for the feedback guys. JKMakowka: here are some refs I used and my crappy silhouette painting. You guys are right he`s too puffy, too much oxygen in the suit maybe :p gonna make him slimmer a bit. Vassago: Apparently, the U2 is sill flying. Pretty cool I though they were out of service long ago. Vig: On some of the…
