Hello everyone, I'm new here, I was suggested to try looking here by someone helping me with a project. I've also been looking around on ArtStation. I'll probably post here in freelance and the collaboration section. I figure if you want to help me for fun, then great! If you wish to be paid, I'm also fully willing to do…
The two that are most noteworthy are the [ame="https://www.amazon.com/Bridgmans-Complete-Guide-Drawing-Life/dp/1402766785/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1331786528&sr=1-1"]Bridgman book[/ame] and the [ame="https://www.amazon.com/Atlas-Human-Anatomy-Artist-Galaxy/dp/0195030958"]Peck book[/ame]. I'm absolutely certain I will…
lol of course you should practice more traditionally and definitely practice anatomy! If you want to be a good character modeler, or even a good person drawer, you need need need to practice anatomy! A good way to practice is signing up for some life drawing classes, sit somewhere and sketch gesturely people walking by.…
I thought the photo of the S chassis with a knuckle modification was sufficient to illustrate my point of the caster and angle of my drawing is based on real world engineering, not something wrong, but deliberate. So I'll post another photo. This is my friend's car, his new one, the illustration is based on his old one. I…
Doodling in ZBrush is fine and I think you can push shapes around and use it as a tool to HELP you learn anatomy. I don't subscribe to the idea that you need to code in notepad for 9 years before you can graduate to the big boy toys. Sure you can learn anatomy and critical artistic skills by making low poly meshes but it…
The face structure looks a bit more puffy than in the drawing. The mouth is also slightly wide, as well as the eyes are slightly farther apart than they should be. The whole skull in fact looks larger in your sculpt than the drawing. The nose looks perfect, as do the eyes for the most part. Perhaps the preorbital puffiness…
In addition to books, it would be awesome if you could find a way to draw from a live model regularly. Both long poses and short poses(30 second gesture drawings, lots of them). If you can't find a model etc. posemaniacs.com is good for gesture drawings but I wouldn't use their images as anatomical reference in longer…
I'd like some clarification on this too. In an ideal multithreaded context with every single polygon being handed out to a different GPU core the draw call completing with the last polygon is rasterised it'd take as long as the biggest polygon does to draw. However, I doubt polygons are "truly" multithreaded like this…
greentooth I've seen a lot of Greentooth in other games. I want to see Greentooth's native realm. edit: I use: -Magicavoxel - hard surface, blocks -GDevelop - game engine and pixel editor (Piskl) -SculptGL -soft surface web based bare bones sculpting with fast brushes and retopo) -Blender - precision surface (rarely…
I've set aside some funding to finally put together a prototype game. Since I don't expect to handle this entirely by myself, portions of the total funding budget will be used to hire freelance conceptual artists, texture artists, etc. This is'nt a major blockbuster title, and I don't have millions for a budget. Is there…
