This post is about some of the Modo specific tricks and the hero mesh workflow, using this 80's home supercomputer as an example: It was inspired by Minitel and teleprinters. Its function in game is to describe and start the next mission. It is part of my effort to only use narrative UIs: No menu, no HUD, all the…
RoBattle Unmanned Vehicle, inspired by the Israeli Robattle. The details are not 1:1 from real life but are close. Final High res is done, now moving on to low poly and bakes! Find my work and other detail shots on ArtStation : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/NBnr1
Dunno about the tower it feels soft and wonky, i would just split it into parts. I dont get this working from 1 piece workflow, its ok for blocking out, but awful and time wasting for final polish. Just start with a square made into polymesh, pick the insert primitive or insert cube brush if you are on older zbrush version…
Just a bit more tweaking from the previous upload. I've felt like motion blur was too overwhelming and timing was slightly off. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnl3n8tVAEk&hd=1"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnl3n8tVAEk&hd=1[/ame]

video of her husband, Hansi, going through the tutorials in order and
documenting his progress. I've made a Padlet if
anyone fancies giving it a go, your welcome 👍…
Hey guys, Here is something I have been working on in UDK, I posted last week in the WAYWO thread. I have been working on it for the past 4 or so weekends. Originally I was going to do a very similar scene which I posted here, but in starting it I got distracted / scared and instead went on to do this. It is based on a…
'Pack Together' in the unwrap mod can be handy to alleviate some of the manual packing workload. Just select groups of small islands, 'pack together' into as square an arrangement as you can, and repeat. This ensures 1:1 for final manual packing. Far from automatic, but can be useful.
From what I understand, it's a question of VCard vs. CPU cost. Again, someone with more understanding of the costs would be able to chime in, but nonetheless - it would be MUCH better to have 1 tree copied 100 times than it would be to have 1 mesh of 100 trees.
I will post tutorials for Blender and maybe some other programs in this thread. Please feel free to post questions, other posts, or even other tutorials in this thread. All the tutorials will be linked from the first post, and different parts of tutorials will be linked with each other, so your posts won't make anything…
