Noth I don't do much of a character modelling lately , more of environment stuff: walls , rocks , tiling surfaces , etc and use Zbrush more like a manual touch to SDesigner. To fix taste related things. To weed out some obviously procedural looking things like slope blur produced erosion or curvature edge masks. Once…

Is anyone here good at lighting setups in Unity? [11:49 PM] Trying to learn how to use Universal Render Pipeline and im in a situation where we are developing an AR game and we are looking at ways to help processing power. Objects act as light sources when ray tracing is enabled, all you need to do is give them an emissive material. Emissive materials require quite a few samples to resolve though, so you may need to increase your sample count for good quality renders.
edit: Problem solved Hi, I did all my textures on painter, I bake the normal map on my low from a high with bevels. On painter everything looks good so I'm doing my textures and exporting everything. But on blender the result is awful I then decide to test a triangulation and the result is much better but not perfect then…
Hi, I'm not very experienced with modelling and ran into a problem. Most of the time I can find fixes but this time I'm just clueless on what the issue is. I threw a quick physical sun and sky into the scene to check how my creature would look shaded and all of the shadows look off. I marked some of the spots on the second…
Hello fellow Polycounters, This fire extinguisher is a test project I've done to practice PBR texturing in Substance Painter. I've named it "The Elephant" :) I've put some effort into modeling to create a quite accurate representation of real-world fire extinguisher. It's not exact replica, some details were ommitted on…
