Hey there! I would like to know the best way you guys have to fix seams like this one for example. Is there some kind of software that can get this easily fixed. I used to use the 3D option in Photoshop, but we don't have the extended version here at work. Do you try to get the seams all well aligned in the UVs so it's an…
Couldn't decide on something to model...an organic character or something hard surface, so decided to give a Mr Bubbles a go! Nice mix of both, just finishing up the base mesh in Max, then it's off to ZBrush we go! Theres a few smoothing errors and some dodgy seams on the symmetry line that need sorting. It still needs…
So after a VERY extended break I am back. This is a dumpster I modeled a long time ago. You are welcome to crit model, although the model won't change. I am trying to level up my texture skills while learning PBR and Substance Designer.(And the Quixel suite eventually) So I am mainly looking for feedback regarding the…

By default, Maya's soft select hotkey is 'b'. Transferring my Modo workflow over to Maya, I bound over 'b' and now realize that using the default slider, I can't extend the soft select above 100; I need the hotkey to do so. What category is it under in Maya's hotkey settings? I'd rather rebind soft select radius to…
Do a google on it to learn what it means. It looks like this in your address bar. But if you try to use it for Polycount, you'll get an error like this: If you go to the Extensions page for Chrome, which of yours are enabled? What happens if you disable them and visit the Polycount homepage? chrome://extensions/
I think the new XGen will help you with your problem, it seems to be a very powerful system. Yet, its only in 2014 Extension release of maya. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPZvG5H8MoY"]Xgen: Autodesk® Maya® 2014 Extension Release - YouTube[/ame]
The extrusion outwards over the back wheel that extends all the way to the end of the door need to be a lot curvier from the sideview. Looking at your model it looks like said part is pretty much flat from the sideview which doesn't seem to match the references at all. Other than that I can't see any obvious problems…
First and foremost; the torso is too long. Arms are too long. If she extends her arm, her hand should cover her crotch perfectly. Legs are too short. Look at where the pelvis is. And look where the leg would rotate from. If she did a Karate kick, she would kick herself right in her face. She should theoretically be able to…
