Hey there! I would like to know the best way you guys have to fix seams like this one for example. Is there some kind of software that can get this easily fixed. I used to use the 3D option in Photoshop, but we don't have the extended version here at work. Do you try to get the seams all well aligned in the UVs so it's an easier fix...
I really need your ideas right now

Can you hide the seam or work with it? Or must it tile a 100%? Is it a unique item (weapon, character, etc) and how are UV's put out? What the material call limit?
Hang10's solution would be the easiest, just square-flatten that specific part and tile the texture either through a another material or do it manually.
Thanks
1) use render to texture to render a version of the model that's re-mapped to fit the texture over the seams.
2) texture on an actual seam with maybe some buckles?
3) the solution others have proposed (straighten uvs)
