Looking great so far! Oh I wrote my response to your question about posting images in the other thread but I'll leave it here as well. "you upload your image files on to an image hosting site like Photobucket. And when you write your post, you go to "insert image" then paste the link." :)
Hello, my name GRey myself and my team looking for a learned 3D model artist for our soon to lunch NFT battle royal game in CArdano, interested hands shld reach out on Tesla@pangaeagames.io thanks
I once tried Maya long ago and couldn't get into modelling with it because it was too darn complicated. A while ago a friend of mine helped me figure out wings3d and I'm finding it much more user friendly! So today I mostly finished the base body for an anime girl I was working on. Yes, she's supposed to be red. This was…
Thanks for the links; I've spent the past hour or so buried in the wiki, doing what I can to work through my befuddlement. Where would be the best place to post work for feedback; the P&P section, the Digital Sketchbook, or the Game Art Workshop? My first guess is P&P (it does have feedback in the title), but the emphasis…
I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I recently took up doing some 3d sculpting. The industry standard seems to be zBrush. I understand why, mostly because it "feels good" but overall if it was any other 3d program everyone would be up in arms over how bad the interface is (and it is terrible btw). zBrush…

Hi, I've only been working in 3D for a couple of months and this is my first character so go easy on me ;-). I'd wanted to get it finished in time for the Street Fighter comp but I was way too late. Before the Street Fighter tournament Zangief was a wrestler known as the Red Cyclone so this is my interpretation of his…
I've had a rocky road the last few years dealing with life but I'm finally having the ability to put forth the effort to get better so I would love the help you guys could give me. This is the link to the animation....I know there are some penetration issues to be addressed but any feedback is welcome so long as I can…
Precisely what I'm asking if I can avoid doing. Yes that's the obvious answer which I already mentioned in my first post, but if I have the option to try out different poses and play with the setting, get foot placement correct in the scene without constant back and forth exporting anims then it would be good.
There is nothing unusual about doing a retopo pass and bake on a character sculpt and its weapon ; as a matter of fact this is pretty much one of the most common things a character artist working in games could be asked to do. The way you mention that the concept of unwrapping the weapon on the same sheet as the character…
