Hey everyone ! Wanted to share my latest project This is my first real game-ready model, so any critique and comment is really appreciated ! Model is a mix of Max, Zbrush and Marvelous Textures are all done in Painter and render in Marmoset I was quite amazed that even with 4 4k textures I felt like I wasn't getting the…
I´m very excited to share my first complete character with you. www.artstation.com/artwork/rQKBe Zbrush, Maya and Marvelous Designer were used for modeling and UVing, Substance Painter for texturing. It´s the first time that I texture a character using Substance Painter and the first time also, that I work on the lighting…
Hi there, i want to make a realistic Banner/Flag for a Game scene (UE4). I just want to know on which way i would get the best results. I know that i can use cloth modifier in 3ds max but it's really high poly. I saw also the method of using only a subdivded plane with an alpha mask, double sided material and apex clothing…
I've started this WOW inspired character a few months ago after I've made a quick sculpt of an orc head. The high poly was made in Zbrush and Marvelous Designer with a little help from 3ds max too. The low poly was made in Topogun, UVs in Rizom VS, textures in Substance Painter and Photoshop and finally baked and rendered…
absolutely friggucking marvellous. Probably the perfect family film, one i really wish i had a couple of kids to take to. As it is, i simply had someone who could only behave like a kid afterwards. I really hope this one gets recognised, for the quality of the film itself and also the lunatically hard work it requires to…
I see, I was not sure about it because sometimes the environments have these statues on generals on horses with their military coat on and so, so I was not sure if all the process of anatomy, sewing and clothing in marvelous designer and the horse muscles and correct anatomy are done by the environment artist himself,…
It's a complex cloth simulation made in marvelous designer so i can't bake the animation to joints exept if i use a script that create a joint for each vertex and bake the animation on every joints but i tried and well its to big so maya keeps crashing ^^ the thing that works is the cache animation and i tried it in real…
Are you modeling from ref or a concept at all? Hard to judge progress/work without any sort of guidance to critique from. Overall, solid base meshes to start sculpting from, though I would try something like ncloth or a displacement or marvelous designer for cloth folds to get you a cool base to work off of. Though for…
Great work! I really like your Victor blow torch. Way to flesh out a small scene. I like how the light runs across the cork board. Also the wear on the laptop keys looks good. Maybe the only thing I don't love and this is weird to say, is the iron man helmet. Not that it's necessarily bad. But just that I would love to see…
not wierd at all! i personally do a lot of hand painted work inside photoshop even for next-gen assets and even for assets that are using PBL shaders. i find hand-sculpting, hand-modeling and hand-painting to be more fun too. if end result is all that mattered, then i could just go buy some 3d scans, use marvelous designer…
