[PAID] 3D Modeler that specializes in Low Poly. Must know how to make a low poly version of a high poly mesh. Task is making clothing/ hair for a base model that is low poly. Please DM only relevant work that looks similar to the image shown in this post.
When I export a model, which consist of several objects (so not all objects are merged into one) to FBX, and then later rightclick the model in UDK and choose to reimport it, it only import one of the objects in the file, instead of all of them. Anyone know how to avoid this? And is it bad to export all your models as FBX…
Hi guys! I'm new to environment modeling and now exploring techniques for modeling cliffs like the one on the picture below. I attempted to model this as separate stones that was sticked to the terrain in the editor, but it's not even close to what I was going for. I would like to hear any tips and tricks you use to model…
@Kwramm : Thank you so much. I have a lowpoly model with distortion problems. Can i duplicate the lowpoly model(same UV) and change geometry in the new model to fix distortions then bake normal map , after that use the normal map for the old model (geometries not changed). Or i have to change geometry on the old model and…
Were looking for talented modelers with an ability to model detailed high-poly characters for next gen engine tech. Cinematic quality work needed with strong sense for detailing. Characters will require knowledge of muscle structures and form. Hyper-real shader knowledge a big plus, but not required for this position.…
Hey! I decided to stream designing, modeling, and texturing the whole process of mech creation. I found this awesome concept made by John Park and decided to model his mech, ofcourse, with his permission. (Thanks John!) I should start streaming today (22.4) in the morning at 9:00 GMT+1 on my Twitch.tv (hopefully) Stream…
So I've watched plenty of tutorials, and even visit the LOWPOLY stickied thread almost every day but I'm still stuck in the PS1 era of extreme blockiness. What's the secret to making meshes full of dense triangles to achieve a more realistic or respectable look? I so far follow the standard procedure to modeling. I…
[UPDATES AT THE BOTTOM] Hey guys! After a 10 years break from 3d graphics and polycount I decided to get back to it. This means I have to learn all the stuff I've missed in the last 10 years, basically anything which goes beyond diffuse and spec maps :poly136: As an exercise I decided to redo one of the last models I did,…
