finally got round to texturing him, overall pretty pleased could have saved 200-300 polys with a bit more careful optimising. slight opacity map on hair,Messed up uvw mapping on sword strap (hence no real design on it) gonna rig him now(never tried this before,just follow the tut on max 7 right?) as always c+c welcome -
Best tool to record screen and make timelapse videos
Hi, what's the best tool to record screen and make timelapse videos. I have used camtasia trial once, but the problem is when exporting videos it uses only one of my cores. And it's costly, about 300$. Is there any low cost or free option. What do you use to capture screen and make timelapse videos. -

Intuos3 vs. Graphire 4
This is kind of a "bang for your buck" question. It's clear that the Intuos is a better series, but is it worth the extra $120 USD you have to pony up for a decent sized model? With an Intuos you have higher pressure sensitivity and the pen rotation functionality. I'm curious as to how often these features come in handy… -

Thats a great deal. Only thing that bugs me is that they kind of penalize existing modo users who havent upgraded yet. To put it in perspective, upgrading is almost half the price of a new license at 40%. They should probably apply that across the board. I'd prefer to stay away from the whole hosting-it-myself thing, I always hate dealing with that stuff. Wikia could be excellent, but there's no way to go private there. Myles; that's not too bad. Still $120 a year, but they host for you. Looks like downloading it for your own hosting is only $10 though.. that's better than… -

I'm afraid I haven't seen that movie yet. The face sculpt was inspired by Lena Headey (300 movie) and Catherine Zeta-Jones somewhat, not sure if I succeeded though. For the hair so far my results look acceptable I think except for the material, still working on getting the strands to look less smooth.
