Thanks for the feedback, so ToD can be animated to create dynamic day/night cycle . My interior is set to 12:00 at noon and the exterior is at 13:00 which gives me two dramatically different setups in one file with ability to animated transition between them etc.
man I so wish I could go Hope everyone who goes has a great time; I had no idea PC was 15 years old...I think I started coming here about 14 years ago; that's insane, I was only 11-12 then!
Hey thanks EQ. I just ordered a 12" polished stainless steel gazing ball. Gonna epoxy on some 1/4" hexnuts, so I can mount it on a tripod. Trouble is, finding wide-open accessible vantage points around Boston. So wooded around here.
Watchmen is a 12 issue miniseries comic from twenty years ago (which I read when it first appeared) It was one of the first 'graphic novel' style books and was the only one to receive a Hugo award. It had (has) a fantastic storyline and visual style. The wikipedia entry has more.
"You could pass a law that lets 12 year olds carry concealed guns to school and it'd kill fewer people than drunk driving." great article ace, i've only done it once and don't care to again, so im probably fine, but its a fun read.
Carbonmade is absolutely, hand-down the best there is (IMO.) Mine for example... http://www.tristamus.com It works on every browser perfectly (Even mobile), and is very fast. It's also very cheap to upgrade to the 12$ a month version and tons of space for uploading projects. It's super organized and it couldn't be easier…
Every example scene I open in the editor seems to be slow. FPS 20-30 and in cinematic mode 10-20 FPS. I have a 16-core 4.3 GHZ CPU and an RTX 3090. I know I can lower the resolution, but even then performance is still not good. Does anyone know what could be the problem? I am using this free…
I've been experimenting with Photogrammetry with my iPhone 12 and my biggest focus has been hard surface items. I have a two point light setup, and I suspend the item using fishing line. Unfortunately, there is always a lot of noise and I can barely use the fine grained details OR capture the hard lines of hard surface.
http://www.gamepolitics.com/2009/01/12/new-bill-congress-would-add-cigarette-warning-labels-video-games "WARNING: Excessive exposure to violent video games and other violent media has been linked to aggressive behavior." They want to put that label on all games rated Teen and up. Yep even games that aren't violent.
Hey, I am having trouble making the pelvis/butt area on a model I am working on. I have always had trouble with this but never posted. This is a base mesh so an all-quad solution is really what I am looking for. Mainly I am trying to go from a 12-sided torso to the pelvis and to 8-sided legs. Thanks in advance.
