thanks Johny! - I would need to work a bit on my high level detailing ;) , i dont know why i just love to work on shapes so much lately... Have installed Silo this week (great program!) and first thought that came to my mind for a practial training piece was a sculpting-bust for "quick bust sketching" in zbrush where I…
The model looked a bit unbalanced, like it was going to tip over, so I adjusted the angle of the bust and moved the stand forward in relation to the bust. Then blended the stand to the bust, and started doing some finishing touches on the model. I fixed up the ears again, then added some small details and asymmetry to the…
Hi everyone, just joined polycount :) I've hit a bit of a brick wall with this sculpt I'm working on , this is my first try at a full female bust. I'm at the stage of mid frequency changes - no hair or eyebrow detail yet, I'm still dynameshing, as I'm not ready for details because the form isn't looking right to me yet.…
I'm enrolled in an advanced character class at Gnomon School of VFS where we have to model texture and render a creature every 2 weeks for 10 weeks. The first assignment was a "warm up" where we were instructed to create a bust. We are not allowed to use our own concept work (to simulate a working environment) so I chose…

I'm thinking of having it be from the waist up with her holding a bolter, but I'm open to ideas. I also want to use this as a…
Thank you very much for your answer! My current end goal is to work as a character artist, even though I already work as an environment artist. I started doing busts because they are much less energy consuming then full pipeline characters (couldn't finish my valkyrie ), but I guess they are good only for personal…
You've got some really awesome stuff in your gallery, I like your batman head bust especially and your concept art gallery :) The website worked fine, all the images I clicked on loaded without a problem. Inspiring folio and resume by the way , definately bookmarked!
The link on your portfolio site is not working for me, its giving me an error. I managed to get the .mzp downloaded but was really hoping to read through the faq and watch the videos. Hope you can get a site up and running again soon, sorry to hear it went bust!
Sorry to hear about the bakery bust. But it's great to have you back! I used a lot of your tutorials when I was first learning CG. So thanks a bunch and good luck! P.S. I have a potential lead for ya so pm me if you're interested.
broader/bigger shoulders man :) good block-in i guess, gotta get yo sculpt on bro ^_^ Can be good to sculpt-sketch out the head first if you're looking for somthing small to bust out to keep you going. Plus it can inform alot of the character overall.
