I don't think you are hitting your 8GB ram-limit roof here because of your modelling .So i doubt swapfile usage will be the reason, it would be more a symptom then. BTW: using the swapfile/pagefile is not a 3ds Max thing or decision: any (windows) software will use the swap space because the OS simply decides wether there… -
