I just bought 3dsmax15, the Relax tool is broken?
I'm really confused by the changes to the UV Relax tool, i used it a lot in the 2011 version and I got really good at using it to get nice results. Now in 2015 it's behavior doesn't make any sense to me, it seems to only destroy the selected UVs regardless of settings/mode -

The llama drama with me right now is, I don't have a tablet, and I rely often on my scanner, and my mouse, my two mechanical pencils 0.5, and 0.7 respectively. Note: Apps I have are SAI, GIMP and Photoshop. Hmmm... -

Re: Macbook Pro for Maya
I use Maya 2015 on a macbook pro and it works no problem. I use it in Mac OS-X fine (but know that there is no direct-x, so the swanky Maya directx stuff doesn't work). You can always dual boot to windows too. -

if i upgrade to 2014 right now do i get this extension update ? or do i have to shell out another $915 for full license+subscription just for this small update even though i already have full license of 2011 ? -

What's the difference between the connect tool in MJpolytools and omtoolbox? I used to use MJPolytools, but now honestly just use Maya's connect tool most of the time. Just set the weighting to 0.5 in the options and it'll automatically snap to the middle of each edge.
