I'm really confused by the changes to the UV Relax tool, i used it a lot in the 2011 version and I got really good at using it to get nice results.
Now in 2015 it's behavior doesn't make any sense to me, it seems to only destroy the selected UVs regardless of settings/mode

Ok, I fixed the issue using a really dumb trick I often do to un-break 3dsmax.
I made a new cube 1x1x1 and put it at 0,0,0. then I convert this free unsullied cube to Editable Poly. Then I "Attach" the mesh that is acting retarded to the cube and delete the cube.
After doing this the relax tool is behaving exactly like it used to.
I wish I knew how/why messes "go bad" like this... ugh.
