in Xsi the relax tool keeps the form/volume of your geo which is awesome, just wondering if theres any scripts out there for Max that can do this? so far the only work around i have is to copy the geo , have the copy selected as the surface in the freeform graphite tools and then use alt+relax. thanks
Can anybody help me out here? Whenever I use the cut tool (no matter if its on vertex, edge or polygon selection modes) It wont cut where I want it to, it will just "snap" the tool to the nearest edge? I am unable to cut where I need to cut.. ..oh. and snaps are OFF.
Hello. I was looking at animation videos and finally started to use my 3d max program again but here's the problem, i completely forgot how to use it! I just made a biped but i want to know how to select both items (arms for example), and have the rotate in opposite directions! please help.
I am a huge fan of Cory Loftis' style, and Wildstar is just stunning visually - so I thought I would model a selection of tasty things based on his concept art. Really fun project! The table is also by Cory Loftis - for Frozen, I believe. The butterfly is just for an extra touch of fun.
How hard would it be to write a max script that allows you to set the vertex color of selected vertecies to either 100% red, 100% green or 100% blue, aswell as 100% black or 100% white? Would really appreciate if someone could whip something up that allows me to do that :) *puppy eyes at MoP*
Like the title says I need to know how to manipulate various sub tools or selected sub tools without having to adjust each one manually. Example torso and lower half can be scaled together but they are different sub tools, if this is an easy one well I never had to do It before. thanks.
in 3dsmax .... Hello I have a small problem with a rigged model , when I select the vertices inthe edit poly under the skin modifier it steps the whole model of a few cms down while when I get out of the object edition it reverts back into position , how can I fix this step ?
