Vig: Maya has a "batch bake (mental ray)" option, and you can choose to bake occlusion to a map, or directly to the vertex colors of the selected mesh, which is quite nice. You get the same result using Eric's method in Max, but it is a few extra steps.
how bout using your eyes to select HUD controls activating them with voice commands. Or to make game characters able to look you directly in the eye. Or for teammates to follow your gaze to see what you're looking at when you make a sudden motion.
Looking for software where is possible to edit multiple textures at same time, mostly i need to move edges on baked maps, photoshop doesn't fit for it since it doesn't let to edit multiple layers at same time. Tried affinity photo, but i couldn't figure out how do i even edit selection.
Hey guys, I have been working on my game since a year ago, as I have started to do the lighting in the scene, I have noticed that whenever I select the lights to be static and bake, they simply disappear from the scene. Hi guys, when I use the 2d paint tool on a new layer to scribble over an object on another layer it switches to that layer rather than having the scribbles stay on the layer I had originally selected for the exact intention to stay separate.. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this annoyance? thanks
so say i got a object made of a shit ton of objects, and i want to delete all the polys that are on the inside of the object that can not been seen, i dont need the mesh to be seamless or anything. just all polys that are completely hidden inside the mesh selected so i can delete them,, anyone know of somethin like that?
Hey all, So getting a really horrid gap (fringing) 1 pixel when doing mask selections from RGB channel. Have gone to every possible photoshop site and still no luck. If I keep filling in the mask with color the issue seems to go away but its annoying, defringe dont help either. I am working with 4k image.
Hey guys, I was wondering what the best way to go about having the purple lattice in the pic below conform to the bend of the selected polys on the other object. I tried the FFD modifier, but it caused too much stretching, and the bend too proved to inaccurate. Or am I just going about this the wrong way?
Every time I exit UDKs paint tool all the default hotkeys get switched. G = Top view, F4 = Save Packages, etc. and if anythings selected when I try and move around in the viewport it'll be manipluated instead. I'm running the latest build (May). Anyone got ideas as to what's causing to act like this?
