I am looking to use an engine for a quick demo for a customer of my consulting firm. Has anyone had any experience with the Lithtech Jupiter engine. It seems to be far more reasonably priced than the unreal engine. -- kraythe
that looks pretty rough :( My feeling is that it has to be a bug rather than a wrong setting so i'm hoping it'll come out in the wash. I've not checked whether it's improved on 5.4 as i don't have the emotional strength for another engine bump at the moment
Hello, I have been working on this engine for a car project. The engine is almost there so i wanted to show it off a little. Its based on the R35 GTR engine but isn't strictly a copy. All modeling is being done in 3Ds Max and rending is in Redshift.
if your objects already come with per vertex shading then the hit comes at the seams/hard edge as that requires another set of verts at the seam in the engine (which would also occur with a mapping seam btw) so the overall hit is usually quite small but it's worthy of consideration.
If you want to work in games, then ideally you would make assets that will be shown in a game engine, and would work in a game.
