Hi, does anyone know any script in Max (2009) for selecting elements in an object given a certain size? I think it would be very useful when you want to scale the texel for a lot of small pieces that need more detail.

I'm trying to render some scenes and I use mental ray in Maya 2009 Unlimited but the result is bright white like it disregards my lights and just comes out white without any detail or shadows or anything?
Is there a way to turn a simple poly mesh into a FFD object to deform another or several other mesh objects? Box or cylindrical FFDs will not work well with the objects I want to deform. I am working with Max 2009 64 bit.
