By "live" layer I mean any non-rasterized layer that works parametrically. Like adjustment layers, color layers, pattern layers, etc. Almost anything other than just a raster layer. The primary issue is a matter of scaling, and the PS3's utter lack thereof. Of course, this isn't just an issue for PS1 and PS2 games, but PS3 games as well.
