Hey guys! I'm doing a 4x4, a bit inspired by Ford F-100 lines... Its for a contest I'm working on, with a 10.000 triangles limit (interior included) and 512px max res textures. Though the engine it's going on doesn't support anything else than a diffuse texture, so no normals/specular... I'm looking for constructive crits… -

Been on a DIY kick as of late. disregard the blue painters tape on the board. only thing i had to hold the carpet on while the glue dried :P. and a new arcade stick. unfortunately i chiped the wood a bit when i was drilling. should have bought a new bit for it as my old one was slightly bent. and this will be the last time… -

The link in the second post of that thread is not Jimmy's work (Jimmy being the OP of that thread). It is mine actually, and they are almost a year and a half old. They are actually the very first hand painted textures I ever did.... I used Ndo (the first, free version) perhaps not very effectively however, this I agree… -

Hi all, I am doing a research piece on Lod(level of detail) in underwater environment and was thinking about doing a survey on how good the Lod look. @brianchenito its just a screengrab from zbrush, just changed the background to white. And for LoDs, i normally go with the lowest one, and bake. if i can see edges and rough figures in the loadout, i do the lod, but if i dont, i normally submit it that way... maybe thats a mistake haha finished my omni weapon :) off to… -

i had a nude patch for RTCW for a short time. i couldn't get horny from it. i kept thinking about a)how crap the women looked with the little pouches still on their waist from the belts and their collars sticking out of their necks and b)how cold they would be standing around in an old church like that... i deleted it cos… -

Simplygon is creating new UV layouts for LOD chain
I previously used simplygon to generate LODs for motrocycles I am using in my game. The process worked perfectly before, the LOD chain had the same UV layout as the original model.
