I have Plantronic's DSP 500. Love em, although they are a headset, so they have a mic. They dont enclose your ear, but I can have em on all day without discomfort. Had em for a year without any problem what so ever.

Right now I'm running a Quadro 370, which is pretty mediocre. I'm using it primarily for PS and MAX, though I'm not even sure the card effects 2D performance. I play games pretty rarely, but I want a card that can handle the latest... just doesn't need the strongest. Any suggestion?
I used Photoshop 5.0 for a long time (until my roomate lost the disc), I've been using 7.0 for the last few years but I haven't been as productive. It's the brushes, there's something I don't like about 'em. What are some good basic brush setups you guys use and how do you use them?

@greevar i understand your view and well... disagree. But I could agree if not for some logical holes that after my post have no desire to argue with you, cause this is like arguing abortion. Hearing it from Neil Gaiman I totally agree. He gets it and it works for him and it possibly could work for so many others. BUT…

Hi, Along with the other good advice another factor that may cause a normal map "distorting" would be the size of the search envelope. 5.0 is a large number. It only needs to be big enough to cover the high poly mesh. Have you accidentally moved the envelope ?
I am 100% convinced this is the way you rapidly get better: https://polycount.com/discussion/98654/super-summer-character-art-boot-camp Just stick to making 500 polygon 256x256 Diffuse Only texture models. Make one a week.
