Point & click, Drama, Minigames, action, puzzles and dark comedy are the elements of this weird Mesoamerican Fantasy Adventure that is now on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/910914306/the-end-is-nahual-if-i-may-say-so
I really enjoyed "The Saxon Chronicles" by Bernard Cornwell more history than fantasy though also "The Arthus Books" by Bernhard Cornwell again only slightly fantasy, i mean the whole merlin stuff is somewhat fantasy but its not the kind of fantasy with orcs and trolls "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss ow awesome…
yeah I agree, the sharpness of a medieval longsword is a urban legend, just a fantasy feature, so as a fantasy game sword it wouldn't hurt if it was sharp, but it doesn't kill the look to leave it that way
Final Fantasy 3 is one to look out for, and Final Fantasy 6 for the GBA came out, which is all I play now. Castlevania and Warioware were also pretty fun.
This is an MMO I'm currently working on. Might be interesting if you're interested in 'modern fantasy' over 'high fantasy'. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0S_-UOEw7A&hd=1[/ame]
