Re: modelling cloth and tissue
if you really want to make clothing, like with actual templates, pieces sown together with material types, pleats, folds, etc then marvelous designer 2 is good. You can make clothing in a similar way to putting together the real thing do the simulations and export the meshes. May be overkill for most things. -

The character isn't strong enough to stand on its own (for high end AAA anyway), however that doesn't mean its wasted effort. Knowledge of marvelous designer and your basics of human proportion and anatomy can help you make statues or similar props for your environments. Just adding this to rest of the advices. -

Love it!, for giggles you should do the color variant of the yellow and blue, and a marvel vs capcom super stocky version that that color set up. You also might want to try a more well know pose with him in an attack pose, hunched over, elbows back, hands in fists and claws out. -

yeah that movie looked like a terrible representation. i know america's all tort-happy & everything but from the previews alone? hell, if i had the opportunity to sue marvel over that movie, i probably would too. from what i've seen, the guy has a right to be genuinely pissed. -J -

Hey all, so I started to work on this character that my friend created. So far I've blocked out the body, hair, and simulated the dress using Marvelous Designer and got this far. I thought doing a practice character like this can help me get more practice, learn a lot more, and become a good character artist -

Scarlet Witch Real time character
Hi all! This is my first post and my last work, a real time model based in Scarlet Witch, Marvel character. 10.700 tris 2k Textures Zbrush for high poly model, 3D Max for low poly retopology, xNormal for normal map, photoshop for texture and Marmoset for real time render. Hope you like it! -
Batman
Hey Polycount! Decided to sculpt for fun and it ended up spiraling into a batman sculpt. Which...then prompted me to keep going and do texturing rendering...etc... Everything is rendered in Arnold. Retopo in maya, as well as xgen hairs. Zbrush for baking displacement and sculpting. Marvelous designer for only the cape.… -
