Anyone have suggestions for other sites like Moddb focused on a game and company database/social network like option. Possibly leaning towards indies especially. I got stuck being the PR dude (for now). -

What size maps should I make for an asset that is a portfolio piece but that I’d like to get comfortable with for the purpose of working on for video games? I’ve worked in maya for a while but I’m newer to substance painter -
LOD and texture size
is there any sense to make LOD for games and also change in LOd1, Lod2, size of textures for example: LOD 0 4096x4096 LOD 1 2048x2048 LOD 2 512x512 ? -
Select elements by size
Hi, does anyone know any script in Max (2009) for selecting elements in an object given a certain size? I think it would be very useful when you want to scale the texel for a lot of small pieces that need more detail. -
Poly count increased by ~130k and Maya scene size by 20mb - Freezing makes scene unworkable

Nice character! When sculpting the blank try and relax the pose. Feet apart and splayed. Hips slightly forward, arms 45 degrees and hands relaxed and or fingers splayed to combat the rake look of the fingers in the end result.
