With the dwarf, it's fine if you want him to have blue hair, be a frost dwarf. I'm just saying the grass looks more teal than green, but perhaps you're aiming for that. The controls, I dunno, it's up to you. I was just making an observation.

The model was done by MrD and I did the texture - it uses the specs of DoW and while I don't know the exact number of polygons, I can say it's about 2200 IIRC. Notch isn't to blame though, he simply expresses his glee over this project, as he is a big fan of dwarf fortress, which this seems to be the closest to. But people are quicker to think minecraft when this has more in common with dwarf fortress or the ages old castles.
