How long did it take you to get good?
The quality of work on this website is down right intimidating. I don't think I will ever be as good as a lot of the users here. How many years (or hours) have you put into your craft to get that good? I didn't get any formal training and am kind of self taught which hinders my process by quite a lot. 3DSMAX - 18 months.… -

Re: 3ds Max 7 and 8 (Snap Tool)
The Snap Preview Radius and Snap Radius have different values than max 6. This is what can cause the difference in snapping. The snap strength in 3dsmax 4/5/6 is 8 instead of 20. Try changing your Radius values to 18/8 instead of 30/20 playing with those values and the others in the snap options tab might get you closer… -
