It could help to elaborate on what you call 'paint drop style'; I have no clue what you mean to be honest. Material does affect polypaint data because material is polypaint data and you're using MRGB. Flatcolor will give you 100% RGB value instead.
Hey guys, ive poly-painted my Zbrush model but when i try to apply the GUVTiles and create the texture ready for exporting, most of my model turns completely black? Also, ive polypainted each subtool individually, how would i go about putting every texture on one map? Obviously i cannot merge them as i will lose all my…

First of all, sorry for english/ Is this possbile to do polypaint a diffuse, on mapped object, from picture ? Just like he did, go to 10:53: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeFqsfgIWzg Can I do something like that in Zbrush ?
Hey guys, Saw this earlier on my linkedin and thought i'd share, wasn't produced by myself but by janos hunyadi It allows you to view Zbrush polypaint within 3ds max realtime; might be useful if you want to do high res renders. http://vimeo.com/105956499 Cheers!
so i wanted to bake my mapes like normals, height map. and base diffuse from max or xnormal. i can get the normals and the height map just fine but i cant seem to figure out where to get the polypaint info to come along with the export of the model. can it only be baked out from within zbrush? also thanks in advance and…
I'm using zb4r3, and I've used the noisemaker, but it seems to have applied a polypaint to my model. It's kind of confusing because I can't seem to tell which subtool is active. Is there any way to restore dimming to objects or remove the poly paint so that they will dim when inactive? Thank you for your time.
I think the layers themselves might actually be the problem. I stopped using them when I noticed weird spotting happening as I painted over existing polypaint data that was not part of the active layer. If someone else can confirm: layers don't work properly with polypaint.
Anyone knows if it's possible to do some kind of emissive/glow effect with just polypaint? I can't for the life of me find a way to do this. I tried the Colorizeglow material. But that one only renders in Best mode, which means the Materials Blend-radius slider has no effect on it, so it looks like crap. BPR doesn't seem…
