Feels like there has some missing attribute. Did they put it in somewhere else? Even If I load in a marmoset2 file in marmoset 3. the skin looks different
Hi everyone, I’m currently working on a 3D model for a class and I’ve run into some confusing normal map issues. I’m baking in Marmoset Toolbag 5 and texturing in Substance Painter, with Unreal Engine 5 as the target engine. The Issue:
When I import my Marmoset-baked normal maps into Unreal, they look perfect (DirectX…

I will add more to my statements, i am also finding it difficult atm to replicate marmoset results in blender, thou again its a learning/knowledge handicap situation. Otherwise the majority probably should just stick to marmoset it saves SOOO much time.
The octet of tree monkeys responsible for the Marmoset Toolbag have released a free update today, version 1.02. But don't assume this is a wee update. In fact, so much of the tool set has been updated that if it was an Autodesk product, we'd be talking about whole number version increments. I've copied their new release…

The two inner rim lines are actually floaters but every time i try to bake in Marmost toolbag it always comes out horribly like this. @reiro: Are you running Vista by any chance? with UAC on? If so try running Marmoset in administrator mode. Right click the Marmoset Toobag icon and click "Run as Administrator". That should allow Marmoset to create a toolUser.cfg file in the proper directory. I actually ended up not installing Mamoset to my OS/Apps drive…
