Sup playas I am doing a handpainted stylized environment, and I want to remove the shadows that this fence is creating. I have unchecked most of the shadow check boxes, yet the shadow of the fence remains! How do I get rid of this shadow?? My terrain properties

hey guys! I'm working on several smaller projects to improve my design and technical skills. This one being, a handpainted weapon in the style of Darksiders! Boring, I know, but a great exercise. I'm a very amateur artist so I would appreciate critique! Thanks guys
hello everyone, this is my first Full Character. I used MayaLT, 3DCoat and Substance Bundle everything on Steam. the textures and the rigg is not finished. this is the first time i rigged a character, are the controlls ok? need some critique to get better and better. :o ) sorry my english is bad!
thanks to all this is a great feedback :-) yes i forgot some details to tell yes ok: the textures are handpainted + a bit foto structures to get the complete look. the greenish look comes from the light setup because i explored the shots of the blizzard and to me all stone elements in this castle setting are nearly gray…
Stylized can mean a lot of things, perhaps you'd be better to study the game/genre you wish to emulate, then reproduce it. Making a stylized game asset is really the same as realistic ones except in maybe poly count and handpainted textures (which I'm sure there are many tutorials on how to create handpainted textures…
Hey everyone, This is my first post here and I'm really excited to get started with the critiques. It's great to meet you all :] I'm currently working on a small scene titled "Madmans Environment." I have a passion for handpainted textures so this environment will be entirely hand painted, however I am pretty new to it.…
Handpainting normal directions like that takes no longer than regular painting - all you do is paint in light direction, there's nothing crazy about it ! Of course quickly sculpting the rocks would have worked too. Knowing how to do both is very valuable.
I think your original concept lacks interesting lighting, its a bit plain at the moment. I would add some more dramatic light like in the cartoony swamp references you collected. Other then that, i like the handpainted textures. Keep it going!
@TudorMorris Thank you. Sadly almost everything is faked in the texture its pretty much a "handpainted" texture. Here its just the albedo with no light information at all (albedo as emissive) and the cheap outline. The definitive one is just 3 lights with a little bit of gloss.
