Hello! After a loooong time without making a personal work I decided to finally return. And of course I can't go without a challenge, I want to make it full game-ready with textures in about 20-25 days (excluding rendering). Usually I have about 6 hours of free time but I don't think I will spend every one for this…
Hi, I am working on a Bounty Hunter set for Dota 2 game. I have come up with a theme and have modeled a few items. But I am unable to come up with a color theme and designs for it. The theme of the item set is pawn [as in a chess game]. Cowl for the hero. Cowl with the hero model. Main weapon. Offhand weapon. Shield/Back.…
Good afternoon. I am importing normal maps I baked to a plane to use as tileable textures. I was wondering what the best settings were for the Texture properties and the Shader Properties for normal maps? So far: I've selected World Normal Map, TCNormal map. No MIPS. In the shader I click Use Tangent Normal Map. Also to…

I'm not sure the best way to tackle this problem in a way that I can have a huge variety of items without fighting the rig too much. All the tutorials I've found about this suggest using the character mesh and tweaking it…

Hey! I've been posting some free content at times here, and here is another one. You can get 15 themes that we have made for Unreal Engine for completely free: https://eliaswick.com/products/editor-themes. The current Unreal Engine theme is honestly pretty great as it is, but if you have a favourite color and prefer the…
Just do it in Zbrush IMO if you really need that feature. Set the brush of your choice to RGB, increase the roll value, and polypaint away. If you're working on Dota 2 handpainted stuff you should be able to get a plenty high-resolution texture out of that.
