[ QUOTE ] build 'em your self kits here in Tokyo cost a LOT less. [/ QUOTE ] You can get The Hitec version for 999 as a kit in the states. Doesn't look like the software is as user friendly though. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLWC1&P=
Huh, never thought to move on W. I always just move on U or V and leave the chunks out there, they map fine that way. But W... so I guess it only bakes between 0 and .999 ? Seems counterintuitive to me, never had a baking problem with various W values.
It's not about the amount of syllables. Well, part of it is. But in my examples I'm mostly talking about order and consistency. 999 in three languages: English: 9*100 + 9*10 + 9 Dutch: 9*100 + 9 + 9*10 French 9*100 + (4*20)+10 + 9
The new Cintiqs(and pricing) finally went up on the Wacom site and they look pretty awesome... I like working on the 21ux at work but I'm leaning towards the new widescreen...thing is the new little cintiqs are bigger than my intuos 3 at home and are half the price of the 20WSX at $999...oh decisions
I agree about the pricing data, also consider the wiki is an international resource... Maybe range the price or rate it in "figures". 2 figures is $10 - 99 3 figures is $100 - 999 4 figures is $1,000 -9,999 Or maybe just levels or stars? Something other than fixed USD amounts.
I just realized that ianimate is $999 per workshop, and it's a lot of money that I don't think I can swing atm. I wish I could, seems like it would be a great experience. The ECGC conference seems do-able though. I will see about going there and improving my networking.
I wish I had $150 to spend let alone $999. Anyone know where I can get Modo for $20? I do like Modo's feature set. :D Oh well, I will just have to customize the hell out of Blender, addons and UI and stuff. Might be good to learn some Blender scripting.
Wow, that laptop is a damn good deal right now. If you go to their site and customize it, you can get a bunch of goodies for free. You can upgrade to a 320GB SATA HDD, Blu-ray, and 4GB of RAM for free. All for $999. That's cheaper than most deals I've been researching recently. Damn... I sound like a commercial now :/
Wow, that is amazing.. I may have to pick a few of these off ebay. Beats the 999 apple charges for their displays.. But quite a bit less features (though that is not that big of a deal if you don't need a thuderbolt hub, gigabit ethernet, usb, speakers and web cam). Though a lot of people had issues with the displays in…
