Hey everyone! :) It was great to see the progress being made on this challenge over these last two months! While the challenge may have reached the end I hope that won't deter anyone here from sticking with it and taking their piece to completion. Either way, I hope there are skills that have improved such that whatever…
Hi richkid, welcome to Polycount! Looking quite good so far, I like the overall design, not what I was expecting The shapes are nice, but the geometry could be optimized some more. For example you could collapse a few edges in the collar, I think you also have a few too many vertical edges in the abdominal region for what…
So finally I've returned to this project. Things that I decided to change: * remapping of the whole asset Although I had a nearly finished texture I wasn't pleased with what I had. The main reason was a lack of texture resolution. One 2048 texture for the whole tank and interior section was not enough to provide enough…
When selecting vertex mode in a object it is showing too many vertices in 3ds max. I mean, from the back of the object. Those points are not isolated vertex by the way. Well, it something like this. Any clues? Thx in advance!
Thanks a lot for your comments! 1. I saw that but thought it wasn't that bad ahah XD I'll try something! I thought making them spread and then homing back to the target, but I don't want the attack to be a target one but more a beam one.. maybe I'll do two versions, one for me and one for the contest XD 2. Yeah.. and…
Hey there Baj, I had a play with the image using liquify and adjusted it a bit. The first of the three images is my liquify adjustment and the other two are two different renders provided by you. I think what is happening with the second image of the three is you are adding weight to the hips to try and make her look more…
So almost every week, without even looking for it, I see advancements of AI in my feed. It feels like it's getting exponentially better and that the people working on it are drinking coffee nonstop to get this out... I saw this in my feed yesterday and it seems the end is neared than I thought. Sure, it looks pretty crap…
iirc the neck only got one (or well.. two since there are two sides) of those huge badass muscles (the one going from the back of the ear down to the front of the neck) and you seem to have two more that are just as big. also all of them seem a little way too big for being a normal old person. get some more references :)
Hey! I've got a scale problem with my scene thats causing issues and I'm not sure what to do. I modelled everything in zbrush with its mm scale then exported the tiny version to Maya and scaled it up to real world size and put the calculated size into zbrush's export scale parameter. When I came to add the hair, I ran into…
