Hi, guys! Recently i started new project. This time i wanted to make some cool mech. And decided to model machine Behemoth from Horizon. So here what i have for now
it gets worse gentlemen Ive been playing plants versus zombies today, apparently they have mechs as well! this is really causing a issue in our plan for survival now that they have access to our giant robot technology
after effets, just import it as an image sequence and then render it out. Also the problem with your mech is that the texture is very muddled and looses detail, it's also not very interesting, the model is cool but not the texture nor the lighting, hope this helps.
Man I love how this, it's so retro (but not in the omg 8bit pixels way), and the music is amazing. Also love that "Dear Leader is dead"-line. I will definitely play this. Can't tell, are the mechs/vehicles 3D or sprites ?
those cylinders do not need that many sides. period. I second MOP's idea of making the gun model blend in with the mesh so it doesnt look like a mech with a Q3 gun hovering in mid air above it.
This looks great man! I like the tri lens thing going on in the front. How much time do you usually get to work on a mech? Can't wait to see the other environment stuff you did.
Thanks @viktor_kiseliov! I'll have a few more streams as I work to complete it. Thank you @splicer! The design is one of my favorite mechs in GITS. The refueling chopper looks awesome too but there's not much reference available
- have a rough idea what you waant to do. Like "hard surface or organic" - decide the like mech, char, weapon etc - search for inspiration - fall in love with a concept or idea/item etc - do it : P
Hey guys and girls! My name is Zach and I am fairly new to the 3D world. I have used it off and on for the past year or so. I have been teaching myself Zbrush and Cinema4d. I wanted to start uploading my stuff on places like this to get feedback from people who know how to create things better and faster. So please forgive…
Hey Everyone, This is my current High Poly Project, based on some fantastic little mech concepts from Sam Brown. It's about half-done, and I'm hoping to have time to bake and texture it, as well as continue to post some updates of my progress. This is the first robot/mech I've made, so anyone who knows the genre - advice…
