How do I get started in freelance work as a 3D Environment Artist for Games?
I really want to get a job in the gaming industry as a 3D Environment Artist and then work my way up and transition to a game designer or level designer. I'm going to apply for as many 3D Environment Artist jobs once I'm done finishing up my portfolio this week and hope for the best. -
Maya - Slow Launch, takes forever to start up. 10+ minutes.
Alright so I can't seem to find a solution anywhere. My Maya takes forever to launch, I'm talking about 10+ minutes if it launches at all freezing up my entire computer every 30 seconds or so while launching.
