Problem with AO using Mental Ray in 3ds 2013
Hey guys, I'm trying to render out this nice city skyline here. The problem is, I can't render out AO for it. Whenever I apply the AO shader like I've always done, I get this result. Doing the exact same thing in 3DS 2012 works like expected, rendering out a nice AO. I can't for the life of me figure out what the problem… -

I love max 2015, veiwport AA if you want, nice outliner and layer manager, ect quad chamfer if you want. no issues so far. And what are you talking about? 2012 has this wonderful bug with certain video cards where the default shading is screwed up. Happens with mine (a GeForce GTX 480), even with the hotfix/SP1 installed; thus I'm still on 2011. You have Maya 2015 installed. Did you install it having Maya 2014 or any other Maya version ALREADY installed? You need to check your Maya.env file in the 2015 folder in MyDocuments.
