Greetings, Decided to try a nice brick ground with a concrete stylized texture. Still trying to understand the Low to high poly baking can't seem to get it right, So instead I made in zbrush and flattened mapping in zbrush then exported to Substance Painter then to Marmoset!
I recall seeing a brief tutorial somewhere about how to make curved brick roads and thought "I should keep an eye on this." And wouldn't you know it, I misplaced that. So what's a quick, efficient way to make something like this tile real well?
Hey everyone! Just finished working on a Herringbone brick material. Made 100% in Substance Designer and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3. Check it out here! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zE08Z
Hey guys, i am trying to make this brick wall and i am in need of a little help. http://imgur.com/2ImTEnX I am unsure how to clean up the edges of this model. I was thinking of decals but i am unsure how to go by doing it. Thanks
Hey everyone, I didn't post anything for more than month which makes me quite sad. Finally I got more time to spend on 3d art so I made this brick material to refresh my Substance Designer skills. Feedback and critique appreciated. Hopefully I will be able to post more often. Artstation
Hi Guys, Just after some crits for a plastered brick wall substance I did for an environment I'm working on. so any crits will be extremely helpful! Thanks!
Hey everyone! Working on a modular weathered brick building for my 3D class. First time in UE4 but here is my blockout so far along with a basic texture for color choices. Let me know what you think! Some reference: In Engine:
Instead of baking a flat, broken brick texture I would just sculpt a unique broken wall section, bake it as a separate mesh and put it on top of your tiling brick wall. You could even use an alpha mask to create a nicer transition between the two meshes.
Here’s a Painted Brick Walls created with Quixel Mixer and only using Mask. No Megascans used for this texture. I would really like to have some feedback to improve my skills.
