Hi, i have 2 questions. How can i preserve brush intensity when changing its size? In the screenshot the strokes have same Z intensity but different Draw size. And how can i use Layer brush with square alpha without having jagged effects? Because when i decrease the focal shift the layer brush looks weird. Thanks in…
Alpha Island v1 -I've switched to real world units. The island is around 700 meters squared. -The town has less buildings than the prototype. -Still playing around with the object placement. -Will be adding a small forest along with some rocks for the beach. I'm going to draw up fully coloured concepts of what each area…
For the bevel tool, or anything in maya, you can select the value in the channel box and while holding middle mouse in the view port drag to change the value. I do not know if that is the function you are looking for, but that usually works well enough for me. I am not sure what you mean by polygon island, do you mean…
Yeah keep at it man, I'm glad to see you've already worked on the colours and particles a little, as thats what really sells this scene. I'd still say you want to go back and check your proportions of the scene a little, theres a few large differences in your scene. If you can't see them let me know and I'll draw over.
Can't tell what part you're talking about. The character's right eye socket has some blockiness there, but looks like it might just be some JPEG artifacts. Might help to paint an arrow to the problem, or draw a circle around it. Did you push the mirrored UVs out of the 0-1 UV space (or otherwise tell RTT to ignore those…
I know the ropes are killing me atm, but at this point our level designer hasnt chosen what angle of camera view the (settlement/village) is going to be seen at, just looked at your portfolio Jessica and i now see what you mean about tiling textures very efficient. i think it may be time to go back to the drawing board.
lol thats what everyone says. I think its impossible to make a character with dreads anymore cuz of that movie XD I lost my graphic tablet pen which means I have to rent one at the lab which basically means less drawing, but I did manage to make this! also did a teaser poster for a collaborative project
Been watching this thread for a while now, love the style of it and that arm is bad ass. You have some solid modeling skills, perhaps you could post some wires of the hi-poly because I'd like to see some of the construction. How do you go about doing some of the ornant parts you have like on the desk and draw?
super quick paint over, I think it'd be awesome to have a butcher shop on the left. You could use that to draw the eye to that spot with the warm colors and a neon sign of some sort. Other than that just some more silhouettes, boarded up broken windows, a car and an awesome futuristic bike (dirty it up to match) and your…
Your model looks great and has a lot of personality. Personally, I think the waist is fine. Campbell likes to draw women incredibly slim there so you're right on target. I think she needs her guns, but other than that it looks like the modeling is just about finished. It's nice to know my thread can be useful to some…
