Hi all, So I'm currently working on learning to rig quadrupeds, and I'm doing so on a stag model I made. I have been following a tutorial and it is till just now I realized an obvious error in why their tutorial wouldn't work for the front legs. The model that the teacher is using is a dog, and obviously the front leg…
I've got a character model I've been working on, and I just got him rigged and enveloped in XSI 5.11. But after I had got all that done, I realized when I twist the character's wrist +/- ~90 degrees (the full range of motion), the polygons in his wrist get all twisted up, and his wrist collapses. It looks like a cardboard…

Hello, I have been trying to figure out how to use a Zsphere rig to pose my character - figured I'd give it a try... My character is a low poly character - and is triangulated - I made the rig - i hit bind - I move - and parts of the mesh disappears Am I missing something? I appreciate any advice :) thank you
I'm no expert at rigging, but maybe there's a reason people don't do stretchy rigs using translation. Could it be that using scaling allows you to scale the rig up or down, and still have the stretchy limbs work?
