In Montana we have a rule "as fast as conditions allow". Which means there is no speed limit but use common sense. They tried to impose a 75mph speed limit state wide but it was repealed a few months later. And yes people only do the speed limit when a B/W is behind them, so doing 85mph is not uncommon in uncongested…
