Hi, does anyone know how the heck I can make an object attach to another object's vertex and rotate according to the normal vertex, using Maxscript and/or Script controller? I've found this script that attach one object to the vertex of another, but only follows its position. I need it to align to the normal of the vertex…
hmm my system is pretty old, but I've never had this issue before. The error disappears if I minimize and maximize the window. Though it's often enough to be a little annoying. Only glitching out with Directx. Not with a software or opengl driver. I prefer Directx for the viewport speed. Any ideas?
Max (2018) has a feature where the speed of the pan/zoom is context sensitive to what the mouse cursor is hovering over. It drives me nuts but can't find any options on it. I swear it wasn't a thing in earlier versions. Any ideas?
anyone got a handle on the workflow for this. I used surface tools years ago. suppose ideally it would good to do a low poly head , convert to patch object and tweak from there, but you get tri patches when you do this.
