After switching to 501 I never had proper normals.I switched 501 for the smoothing groups and it's supposed to make my bakes even better not worse. I am trying to turn off the bevel "Offset as Fraction" options, but when i do it completely messes up the model completely. I've had this happen a couple of times, though never as extreme or as unintentionally cool-looking as this, and it's always been due to a few errors in the base mesh. Think of the extra effort it'd take to recreate that effect on purpose....

I ran Mesh cleanup during my troubleshooting and no errors were spat. I didn't save materials in the .fbx. I just over-wrote the file as I'm still testing. :) I'm off to bed now but I'll upload a similar .fbx file tomorrow. Cheers mate.
Whenever I retopo in mudbox with Sculpt Detail checked on, The result mesh gets mangled as shown in the attachment. It happens to all my meshes that has been sculpted.
